Above the line advertising cost a lot of money because they rely on physical infrastructure and it runs on the principle of scarcity (only the television and radio stations can run television and radio ads, limited time space, golden hours, etc.).
Magazines and newspapers need to pay for ink, printing machines, and staff. Staff is expensive, you got to pay their salary, work space, insurance, utility, training, and other expenses.
Other print formats operate in the same manner as the above mentioned publications.
As a small business owner and myself a freelancer, our budget is limited. Very limit. Hence, we need something that’s low cost or free for marketing our products and services. [Read more…]
